Definition of RECIDIVISM
-a tendency to relapse into a previous condition or mode of behavior; especially : relapse into criminal or behavior that has a negative impact on their life success.
Osiris Organization was established to give youths who are at risk for recidivism and their families the best chance to successfully integrate back into their communities as law abiding citizens. Founded by Bill and Gail Roddy in 1996, the organization’s mission is to raise awareness about recidivism among youths in involved in the juvenile legal system. This undertaking is accomplished by providing mentoring, technology training, and life-skill counseling. These programs develop young adults into self-reliant and responsible citizens of their communities.
