Young people can’t turn their lives around without the skills – both professional and personal – to do so. The Life-skills Counseling gives youth the skills to empower themselves, reach their goals, and avert the influences that have sent them in the wrong direction.
Osiris Organization works with youth who are at risk and transitioning back to their communities after release from the Hennepin County Home School. By providing positive role models and real-world training, our counseling offers them a chance to look to the future with an optimistic outlook.

- After-school enrichment that enhances academic education
In addition to the Life-skills Counseling, Osiris Organization hosts a recreational event each month to allow students to demonstrate their newly acquired technical skills. Through this event, students are able to chart their progress amongst one another and record their improvements.
Today, many of those who have been helped by Osiris are returning to mentor other students in the program. Some graduates are venturing out to start a business. All serve their communities and remain connected – sharing their experiences and supporting one another through life’s challenges.
